Emon H. Bookasta, 101, former honorary chairman of the board of Burbank Broadcasting Co. and one-time co-owner of radio station KBBQ, a 10,000-watt, 24-hour AM country and western station that served the Southland from Burbank. Bookasta, who also was a principal in station KROQ AM-FM, earned much of his money through Antelope Valley real estate investments. In Los Angeles on March 15.
