WNET-TV, New York’s flagship public-broadcasting station, plans a new “Sesame Street”-like kids’ series to air by the end of the year--with none other than Ringo Starr as its storyteller. WNET wouldn’t confirm, but production sources said the ex-Beatle will host the half-hour weekly series, “All Aboard,” which will mix live action and an animated toy train.
