Hot secret: Sources squeaked to Outtakes that Mickey Mouse, who made his screen debut in “Steamboat Willie” in 1928, the same year the Academy Awards were born, will present the Oscar for best animated short April 11. The animation community is also abuzz about a cartoon sequence that Disney’s reportedly prepared for the broadcast featuring classic Disney characters (reps aren’t talking about that, either).
