The Chicago Bears are expected to let their grace period expire today and allow linebacker Wilber Marshall to go to the Washington Redskins for two first-round draft choices.
The Redskins offered Marshall a five-year, $6-million contract last Friday, which the Bears have to match by 8 tonight to retain Marshall’s services. The Bears have no announcement planned, a team spokesman said.
