Local News in Brief : Placentia : Golf Tournament to Provide Scholarships

The city will hold its ninth annual Mayor’s Scholarship Golf Tournament at the Alta Vista Country Club on Monday at 8:30 a.m.
The tournament is held annually to provide scholarships to high school seniors from Placentia.
Entry forms can be obtained at the Placentia Recreation and Human Services Department, 401 E. Chapman Avenue. Entrants can register individually, but will be divided into teams of four for the event. Businesses and large organizations are encouraged to sponsor foursomes.
