Half Right or Best

Sam Hall Kaplan’s column (Feb. 28) was half right. The conference of architects to create pronouncements about community and city planning was certainly self-serving. But, self-serving with unity.
The half of the column that was wrong lauded community planning groups. These groups are made up of realtors, retired homeowners, low-to moderate-income renters, members of the local chamber of commerce and a sprinkling of just plain dissenters. Each faction is self-serving. But self-serving without unity.
