So, Kirk Gibson has a history of playing practical jokes, sometimes causing injury to teammates. However, he is such an important fellow that no one would dare play a practical joke on him. Well, la de da. All of us have seen this type before. They’re so unrelentingly arrogant and unlovable that they find little acceptance anywhere.
Unless he can hit .325 this year, Gibson would do well to ask the Dodgers to release him so he can play in Japan. The Japanese are so polite, they won’t even say “shoe polish” to him.
