GOP Forum Canceled for Lack of Candidates

ST. PAUL, Minn. — The Republican presidential candidates forum scheduled for Sunday has been canceled for lack of interest, organizers said today.
The event’s organizers said the only Republican candidates willing to show up were Rep. Jack Kemp of New York and Harold Stassen, a perennial candidate, so the forum was called off.
