UCI Tops Georgia Tech in Men’s Tennis, 6-3

Mike Briggs, a freshman from Corona del Mar High School, defeated Brad Prybis, 6-4, 6-2, in No. 4 singles to help the UC Irvine men’s tennis team to a 6-3 nonconference victory over Georgia Tech Friday at Irvine.
Irvine’s Richard Lubner defeated Andre Simm, 6-1, 6-2, at No. 3 singles. The Anteaters’ Mike Cadigan defeated Franz Sydow at No. 6 singles, 6-0, 6-4. Irvine is 1-1.
