Wheelabrator Technologies, a Hampton, N.H.-based company that is majority owned by Henley Group, reported net income of $6.6 million on sales of $260.9 million for the fourth quarter ended Dec. 31. Those figures compare with net income of $1.3 million on sales of $258.2 million over the like quarter a year ago.
Wheelabrator, a developer and operator of trash-to-energy and co-generation facilities, reported a profit of $25.1 million on sales of $1 billion for the fiscal year, compared with net income of $4.8 million on sales of $849.2 million in 1986.
