La Jolla Bancorp reported that net income rose by 30% to $2.2 million, compared to $1.7 million for the year ended Dec. 31, 1987. Assets rose slightly to $333.8 million from $333.4 million the previous year. Deposits fell to $304.4 million from $306.5 million during the previous year. Total loans rose by 9.7% to $25 million from $22.5 million.
