Freeway Billboards
Anaheim is the laughing stock of Orange County: inner turmoil of the City Council, the Katella project, the great wall, million-dollar budget deficit, and now freeway billboards.
On Tuesday, the Anaheim council will vote to lift a 20-year-old ban on freeway billboards. Visitors marvel at what are considered some of the most beautifully landscaped freeways in the state. Ugly sign pollution would destroy this city asset.
The voters are going to remember council members who allow billboard blight.
