Detectives had few clues Monday in the fatal stabbing of a man on a North Hollywood street, Los Angeles police said.
The 40-year-old victim was stabbed repeatedly in the upper body about 4 p.m. Sunday in the 11800 block of Vanowen Street, said Detective Howard Landgren. He then staggered into a nearby carport, collapsed and died.
The victim’s identity was not released pending notification of his family. Police said they did not know where the man lived. Landgren said the victim had apparently argued with the person who stabbed him.
