Golden West Gets First-Round Bye in Volleyball Regional

Golden West College, the state’s No. 1-ranked team, received a first-round bye in the Southern California Regional women’s volleyball tournament and will meet the winner of the Cerritos-Moorpark match in the second round Dec. 1 at Golden West.

Orange Coast College, seeded 10th in the 12-team tournament, will play at No. 7 Chaffey at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the first round.
