Jesus Romero Flores; Mexican Patriot
Jesus Romero Flores, 102, the last surviving signer of the Mexican Constitution. Romero Flores was one of 219 deputies assembled by former President Venustiano Carranza in 1917 in the colonial city of Queretaro to sign the constitution, which began the process of national reconciliation after a decade of fighting during the Mexican Revolution. Sunday in Mexico City of a heart attack.
