Harry McGraw, the slightly seedy private eye who has helped out Jessica Fletcher a time or two on “Murder, She Wrote,” opened his own office this fall on CBS.

“The Law and Harry McGraw” airs Tuesdays at 10 p.m. (Channels 2 and 8) and stars Broadway actor Jerry Orbach (pictured on the cover) as McGraw and Barbara Babcock as a recently widowed criminal lawyer whose office is across the hall.

In Tuesday’s episode, Shea Farrell and Herb Edelman are among the guests in a story about a high stakes poker game that is disrupted by a murder.
