American Medical International’s BBB+ rated senior and BBB subordinated debt has been placed Standard & Poor’s ‘Creditwatch’ list with negative implications. About $1.85 billion of debt is affected. . . . The Soviet Union purchased an additional 650,000 metric tons of U.S. corn--about 25.6 million bushels--for delivery in the year that began on Oct. 1, the Agriculture Department said.
