Amdahl’s income shot up 418% to $36.78 million for the third quarter, compared to the year-ago period. The Sunnyvale, Calif., computer maker said the results were primarily due to customers’ continuing strong acceptance of its processor and storage subsystem products. Revenue rose 65% to $362.7 million.
