NCR’s income was up 33% to $97.8 million in the third quarter. The Dayton, Ohio, company said it got a boost from a substantial increase in personal computer orders. Revenue rose 13.5% to $1.34 billion. NCR said earnings improved on both the domestic and foreign fronts, with international orders showing a substantial gain.
