Youngsters Need a Helping Hand
Having lived in the South Bay for about 10 years, I’ve been happy about the ocean beauty of this place. One can’t help but notice how youth-oriented this place really is, and that is good. I love kids. They are not as bad as we make them out to be. I believe in them and I think we as parents should help them as much as possible. Not with material things--I mean help them get started in life, careers and schools.
Now, if we all try to do our job in this area, why don’t these large companies help them out, establish a program for them, provide entry-level positions for them, and really and truly give them a break?
I see so many of these young people not doing anything that I can’t help but blame society for not giving them the chance they deserve.
