A Danish election poster showing a socialist opposition leader as fictional secret agent James Bond will lead to a compensation claim for breach of copyright, a spokesman for United Pictures International, the film’s Danish copyright holder, said. The poster for the Sept. 8 election shows Social Democrat leader Anker Joergensen as the youthful and handsome British agent Bond, offering a socialist red rose to a beautiful woman.
