A woman thought to be a prostitute was found dead Friday in a motel by a maid who came in to do a morning cleanup, Chula Vista police reported.
The woman, who had not been identified by police, was found fully clothed on the floor of Room 9 of the Chula Vista Motel on the 300 block of Broadway.
The woman, who appeared to be in her mid-20s, had blood on her face, Sgt. Richard Strickland said. The death was called “suspicious.”
