A lawyer for New World Entertainment said he would appeal a Massachusetts Supreme Court judge’s ruling that stopped New World’s $460-million bid to take over Kenner Parker Toys of Beverly, Mass. The ruling denied New World’s petition to overturn a Superior Court order that temporarily barred the company from buying more stock in Kenner Parker, the world’s third-largest toy maker. Los Angeles-based New World owns 8.4% of Kenner.
