Nordstrom’s earnings climbed 19% to $24.46 million in the second quarter. The Seattle-based retailer attributed the increase to improved sales, which rose 20% to $538.36 million. The company said 6.1% of the sales increase came from the four stores Nordstrom’s opened in the past year. The chain has 56 stores.
