KCOP WINS ITS MARATHON

KCOP Channel 13, which has covered the City of Los Angeles Marathon in each of its two past runnings, has obtained the rights to cover the third L.A. marathon next March 6.
This year’s marathon included 14,937 runners from more than 30 countries.
KCOP deployed 25 cameras, the Goodyear blimp, four helicopters and scores of technicians, cameramen and volunteers to cover that event last March.
