Los Angeles-based Unocal Corp. has named H.D. Maxwell western region vice president. Succeeding Maxwell as vice president for the central region, in Midland, Tex., is Graydon H. Laughbaum Jr. Unocal also appointed Richard K. Jemison as president of its real estate division. Jemison succeeds Robert F. Koch, who is retiring.
