Deputy Killed by Another Officer at Utah Roadblock

ROOSEVELT, Utah — A sheriff’s deputy was shot and killed by another deputy Thursday as officers tried to arrest a man at a roadblock, authorities said.
Duchesne County Sheriff Clair Poulson said the shooting was being considered an accident. The names of the deputies were not immediately released.
Nathan L. Slaubaugh, 34, of Indiana, was booked into Duchesne County Jail for investigation of failure to stop and resisting arrest, Poulson said.
