The Los Angeles County coroner’s office has scheduled an autopsy today for Althea Flynt, 33, the wife of Hustler magazine publisher Larry Flynt, who was found dead Saturday night in a bathtub in their 20-room mansion. Alan Isaacman, an attorney for the Flynts, said her death was accidental and indicated that she had “been ill for quite a long time.” The former Althea Leasure was Flynt’s fourth wife and was married to the publisher 11 years. Flynt hired her as a dancer in his Columbus, Ohio, nightclub and, after starting his adult magazine publishing business, put her on his staff. Isaacman said Flynt “was handling it as well as anybody can handle the loss in that situation.”
