Arizona State’s Home Football Season a Sellout

TEMPE, Ariz. — Arizona State has sold out its home football schedule through season tickets for the first time in school history.
With 70,021-seat Sun Devil Stadium here, Arizona State has led the Pacific 10 Conference in attendance seven times in its eight-year affiliation with the league.
Last season, en route to their first-ever Pac-10 title and Rose Bowl victory, the Sun Devils had five home sellouts and drew 486,034 in seven dates--an average of 69,433, third-best in school history. They drew an average of 70,208 in 1978 and 69,734 in 1979.
