N. Korea Delays Spying Trial of 2 Japanese

TOKYO — Two Japanese seamen detained in North Korea since 1983 for allegedly spying have fallen ill, forcing a delay in their trial, the (North) Korean Central News Agency reported Friday.
Isamu Beniko, 56, and Yoshio Kuriura, 55, captain and chief engineer of the Japanese freighter Fujisan Maru No. 18, were arrested on charges of spying in 1983.
