Valley Dodgers Brace for Crucial Weekend Series

It’s still early in the season, but the Valley Dodgers are already terming this weekend’s series with the Westside Waves as important to the team’s success.
The Dodgers (9-0, 4-0 in the Golden State League) have four games in two days against the Waves, who are 3-1 in league. Westside plays host to the Dodgers for a noon doubleheader today at The Master’s College in Newhall. Sunday’s noon doubleheader is set for Cal State Northridge, the Dodgers’ home field.
A successful weekend would help strengthen the team’s seeding in the National Baseball Congress state tournament in San Bernardino, July 1-4.
