Arkansas Judge Convicted of Buying Votes in Election

HARRISON, Ark. — A federal jury has convicted Newton County Judge Alton Campbell of charges of buying votes in the November election. Campbell’s attorney, Tommy Martin, said he would appeal Wednesday’s conviction.
