Fountain Valley : Cyclist Fatally Hurt in Trying to Miss Dog

A Huntington Beach motorcyclist crashed and died Tuesday after swerving in an unsuccessful attempt to miss a dog that darted onto the road in front of him, police said.
Jeffrey Edward Incandela, 24, died during surgery at Fountain Valley Regional Hospital three hours after the 2:45 a.m. accident on Warner Avenue near Tahoma Street in Fountain Valley, police said. The dog, which was struck, died at the scene.
Alexander Emilio Jomarron, 27, who was on another motorcycle, also crashed, police said. He was treated and released from the same hospital. Both men were wearing helmets.
