Harvard’s oarsmen left Yale in their wake at the mile mark and finished more than eight boat lengths ahead to score their third straight victory in the historic regatta on the Thames River in Connecticut.
The 32.9-second difference was the 10th-largest margin of victory since World War I and the biggest since 1976 in the annual four-mile race, which was first rowed in 1852. Harvard leads the series, 71-51.
