Apartment Planned in San Diego

Metropolis, a 21-story, mixed-use high-rise apartment building is being planned in the Marina Redevelopment Area of downtown San Diego as a project of Los Angeles developers Neil Senturia, Arthur Pastel and Michael Moers.
The partners have entered into an exclusive agreement with the San Diego Centre City Development Corp. to build the $36-million, 440,000-square-foot development.
The structure will include commercial space, offices and 214 apartments. Opus Southwest Corp. has been selected as construction manager and co-developer for Metropolis and C. W. Kim of San Diego is the architect.
