La Verne : City Manager Appointed

Martin Lomeli, assistant city manager of La Verne for the past seven years, has been named city manager. Lomeli, 31, succeeds William Sheldon Jr., who resigned May 23 after serving 4 1/2 years.
Lomeli’s salary has not been set but will be between $60,228 and $73,200 a year, according to figures approved by the council.
Lomeli holds a number of other city positions, including administrative services director, city treasurer and economic development officer.
