Local News in Brief : Motorcyclist Thrown Against Wall, Dies

A motorcyclist was killed Monday night when he was thrown against a cinder-block wall in an accident in Canoga Park, Los Angeles police said.
Antonio Mares Rivera, 28, of Canoga Park struck the wall after his motorcycle sped out of an alley and struck a curb on Hart Street west of Canoga Avenue shortly after 9 p.m., Officer Larry Demas said.
