Santa Ana : Principal Chosen to Head New High School

Santa Ana High School Principal Gerald Arriola will head the new Century High School when it opens in the fall of 1988, the Santa Ana Unified School District announced Tuesday.
Century High currently is under construction at 1401 S. Grand Ave. Built to accommodate the booming student growth in Santa Ana, the new high school will offer an array of high-tech courses, including computer science and electronics. It is expected to have an enrollment of 1,800 students.
Arriola has been principal at Santa Ana High for the past five years. He previously worked 11 years for the Huntington Beach Union High School District and four years for Anaheim Union High School District.
