Brittany Boy, a 14-1 shot, beat favored Bankers Benefit by six lengths to win the Irish Grand National Steeplechase and fulfill a lifetime ambition for the winning jockey, Tom Taaffe.
“My father Pat won the race seven times and I was hoping to get lucky myself once day,” he said.
