In Jerry Hulse’s March 22 Travel Tips column foreign currency was mentioned. He indicated two companies which deal in foreign currency in Los Angeles. Security Pacific National Bank and its branch network can also assist in the purchase and sale of foreign currency. Of particular interest to your readers may be Security Pacific’s Jet Pack, a handy package of about $50 in foreign bank notes and coin. Included are monetary conversion tables, airport-to-city distances, tipping guidelines, addresses of the U.S. Consulate and American Chamber of Commerce, weather information.
Jet Pack may be obtained from any Security Pacific branch office in California.
