The body of professional wrestler Mike Von Erich was discovered in thick underbrush about 600 yards from where his car was discovered abandoned near Lewisville Lake, Tex., Sheriff Joel Dalton said.
Officials said there was no indication of foul play.
Von Erich’s family reported him missing Monday. He was last reported seen Saturday afternoon, when he posted bond on drug and alcohol charges.
His car was found beside the lake Wednesday afternoon, and officials said a note was found that began, “I am in a better place.”
Von Erich, whose real name was Michael Adkisson, was the youngest of three wrestling Von Erich brothers, sons of Jack and Doris Adkisson.
