Rickey Parkey, the International Boxing Federation cruiserweight champion will fight World Boxing Assn. champion Evander Holyfield on May 15 in Las Vegas.
IBF President Bob Lee said the 15-round bout will be an optional defense for Parkey and both boxers have agreed to fight the top ranked IBF challenger by July 25 if they win May 15.
The WBA has yet to sanction the fight. If it does not and Parkey wins, the WBA title will be declared vacant.
