Police are seeking a Placentia woman who allegedly ran her car into a pedestrian and then fled on foot, a spokesman said Thursday.
Fullerton Police Sgt. Bud Lathrop said officers used the car’s registration to identify its owner as Maria Ramirez Urbina, 22.
He said Melody Marie Lewis, 30, of Fullerton was crossing Placentia Avenue near Ruby Drive about 6 p.m. Wednesday when she was struck by the car, allegedly driven by Urbina.
Lathrop said the victim was taken to St. Jude Hospital in Fullerton and treated for cuts and bruises.
