Eugene von Wening Jr. Dies at 60

Eugene von Wening Jr., a director and executive vice president of Turner Construction Co., and a past president of the Assn. of General Contractors of California, died April 10 in San Francisco of cancer. He was 60.
Turner, a veteran of the Merchant Marine and the Korean War, joined Turner in 1950 and was chairman of the board of Turner International Industries before becoming a director in 1985.
