Six cities have submitted bids to hold the 1994 Olympic Winter Games.
Anchorage, Alaska; Berchtesgaden, West Germany; Lillehammer, Finland, and Sofia, Bulgaria, made follow-up bids after their unsuccessful campaigns to stage the 1992 Games, which were awarded to Albertville, France. The two other ’94 candidates are Lausanne, Switzerland, and Oestersund, Sweden.
The selection will be made in September 1988 at Seoul, South Korea.
