Jemarl Baker, a 6-2 guard from Manual Arts High in Los Angeles, signed a letter of intent Saturday to play basketball at Cal State Northridge.
Baker was a two-year starter in high school, making all-Marine League as a junior. He missed most of his senior season with strained ligaments in his right ankle, but came back during the playoffs for 18 points and 8 assists in a win over Westchester and 21 points and 7 steals in a loss to Fairfax, the eventual City champion.
