Former Atlanta Braves star Bob Horner said in Dallas that he and his agent, Bucky Woy, spent seven hours trying to complete a contract to play in Japan but that details probably won’t be ironed out until sometime this week.
“We’re still in the negotiating process and we have more work to do,” Horner said. “The Japanese are very orderly people. There isn’t a lot of joking around. They are going over everything, but things look very good.”
