Not Getting the Proper Respect

Capistrano Beach just doesn’t get any respect!
Channel 50 had a program recently on south Orange County incorporations. Guess who wasn’t included (even though we are filing for incorporation). Yep, Capistrano Beach.
When it was important to have our supervisor’s support on a recent land grab by San Juan Capistrano, we didn’t get it, or much respect either.
A number of years back, the Capistrano Unified School District wanted a bus parking lot. Guess where it was put: You’re right again, downtown Capistrano Beach. No respect!
Even some map makers leave us off their maps.
Just no respect, the Rodney Dangerfield of south Orange County, Capistrano Beach.
