LONG BEACH — In an effort to increase public accessibility, the site of the Citizen’s Advisory Commission on the Handicapped public meetings has been relocated to the city’s parks and recreation headquarters, 2760 Studebaker Road.
The 15-member commission is designed to advise the mayor and the council on issues affecting the city’s 70,000 disabled residents. General meetings are held at 2 p.m. on the second Thursday of each month. Committee meetings are held at 12:30 p.m. on the third Thursday of every month, according to Bert Srack, superintendent of special services.
