Don Ross has been promoted to president of the Lorimar news and information group, with responsibility for NIWS Inc., Lorimar-Telepictures’ news service, and the California Video Center, a video post-production facility. Expanded duties will include engineering and news programming for the company’s six TV stations and Culver City-based Lorimar’s technical services area.
